Within months, he&nbsp;was promoted to Director of Project Management and, in 2017, he became Vice&nbsp;President of&nbsp;Technical Services. Mr. Martell&#8217;s rapid rise in the ranks at the&nbsp;company is attributed to his unfaltering display of loyalty and competence as a&nbsp;leader. His extraordinary handling of&nbsp;company staff and the day-to-day&nbsp;operations of the business during the coronavirus pandemic was the deciding&nbsp;factor for CEO Stephen Fauer in accelerating Mr. Martell&#8217;s&nbsp;ascension to&nbsp;President of the company. Throughout the crisis, Mr. Martell again proved&nbsp;himself to be highly competent, keeping the company fully staffed and&nbsp;operational with no&nbsp;interruptions to schedules nor decrease in quality of&nbsp;service to ESA&#8217;s clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While&nbsp;still a fledgling project manager with ESA, Mr. Martell behaved like a leader,&nbsp;identifying areas for improvement and executing strategic plans to advance the&nbsp;company both&nbsp;technologically and financially. Now, as President of the company,&nbsp;Mr. Martell will utilize his leadership skills to prepare ESA for major growth.&nbsp;This means streamlining internal&nbsp;procedures and operations, refining company&nbsp;financials, and hiring additional key personnel. While CEO Stephen Fauer&nbsp;continues to provide guidance and mentoring along with&nbsp;acting as the company&#8217;s&nbsp;Chief Client Strategist, Mr. Martell now assumes responsibility for managing&nbsp;the company&#8217;s 12-person staff and all day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When&nbsp;asked about some of the challenges he&#8217;s faced since joining the company, Mr.&nbsp;Martell responded, &#8220;The first really tough task I took on at ESA was&nbsp;rebuilding the staff from&nbsp;the ground up. Our human resources were lacking the&nbsp;skill and stability I like to see in an organization, so we &#8216;cleaned house&#8217; and&nbsp;now have an enviable Dream Team of dedicated&nbsp;and highly talented scientists and&nbsp;project managers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;advent of the coronavirus pandemic created a career-defining challenge within&nbsp;the company. Mr. Martell continued, &#8220;What\u2019s been incredibly difficult is&nbsp;maintaining productivity&nbsp;and business operations during COVID. Going into&nbsp;lockdown, we developed a plan, and we had the proper communications tools in&nbsp;place, and not only did we survive, we thrived!&nbsp;Our three highest revenue&nbsp;months during my tenure with the company were March, April, and June of&nbsp;2020.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As&nbsp;for ESA&#8217;s future, CEO Stephen Fauer adds, &#8220;ESA has never been more&nbsp;strategically poised for growth and success than it is now, right at this&nbsp;moment. With our skilled staff,&nbsp;state-of-the-art technology, and ESA\u2019s ability&nbsp;to implement remedial strategies that other consultants fail to identify, ESA&nbsp;is set to enter the next decade like a bolt of lightning!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;conclusion, Mr. Martell added, &#8220;I\u2019ve been around the block and I\u2019ve worked&nbsp;at a lot of companies. But I\u2019ve never worked with such a stellar group of&nbsp;people who all share the&nbsp;same vision.
